Karaoke Comeback
Karaoke has a long history at The LA. During the tneure of Danny
and Graham in the late 1990's, their karaoke sow was visited from
far and wide. Since their departure there gave been number of
request for it to return. And it has.
A sizeable sum has been invested to purchase the latest state of the
art computerised karaoke which features over 4,400 songs titles from
the standards to the latest Will Young song. Presented by Nigel
every Saturday night, the hope is to attract regular singers who do
not need to get "plastered" before singing a song. Karaoke for
Adults is how Nigel describes it.

Access is now available at The LA.
A new computer system has been installed and is available to
regulars who wish to surf the net at speeds currently available to
many in the Baldrine area and a Wireless Access Point (WAP) is also
on offer for those who sish to connect to the Net from their Laptops
and WAP phones.
Said Nigel, "There are
many times that a question arises in conversation that results in
the customers saying - ask Nigel, he'll know. When i don't, which is
more often than not, i go to my office and consult Google. So i have
decided to make Google available to all. It should solve a few
arguments!" |
